2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

In May of 2024 the Cumberland County Planning Department and the Cumberland County Department of Public Safety began working on an update to the Cumberland County Hazard Mitigation Plan.  These updates are required every 5 years to be eligible for pre-disaster and post-disaster funding from PEMA and FEMA.  The Hazard Mitigation Plan was approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on November 18, 2025.  The plan provides updated hazards, and demographics and implementable mitigation actions.
