The Recorder’s Office accepts the following payment methods:
- Checks* - Checks should be made payable to “Recorder of Deeds”. NO CASH REFUNDS.
- Credit cards - Credit card payments are being processed through Value Payment Systems (VPS). There is a 2.25% convenience fee with a minimum fee of $2.50 per transaction to the filer
Prices include a $20 UPI fee if required; additional parcels are $20 each.
Due to the passage of Act 45 of 2025, the CJEA fee has increased $1 effective immediately. All deeds and mortgages have increased $1 effective 11/17/25.
DISCLAIMER: Documents or requests received by mail with incorrect payment will be returned without filing. However, any document or request received by mail with an overage of $10 or less, will be processed or recorded without a refund of the overage.
