It is an emergency service provided to individuals in a mental health crisis. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How are services provided?
Service can be provided via walk-in, mobile outreach, or by calling the telephone crisis service.
Walk-in:
Walk-in crisis service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing face-to-face contact for a person in crisis or a person seeking assistance for a person in crisis. Services include assessment and evaluation, information and referral, crisis counseling, crisis resolution, resource coordination, and emergency psychiatric and medical consultation.

Mobile Outreach Service:
This free service is provided in the community if a person is experiencing an emergency psychiatric or mental health crisis and is unable or refuses to go to an emergency room for evaluation and treatment. The person in crisis must be agreeable to the services. The decision to activate the mobile crisis unit remains solely with Crisis Intervention Services. The mobile crisis responder(s) will provide assessment, counseling, information and referral for additional help at the location of the crisis. Mobile crisis is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Telephone:
The telephone crisis service is available for any person in crisis, or anyone concerned about or seeking assistance for someone in crisis, who wants to speak to a professional counselor. The crisis counselor will provide counseling, consultation and referral for additional help. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
