Election / Voter Services Functions

• Registering voters
• Conducting elections
• Maintaining the registration of all voters
• Preparing notices of elections and lists of offices
• Accepting / verifying nomination petitions
• Preparing official and specimen ballots
• Administering the Campaign Expenditure Act

Additional Responsibilities

• Establishing voting precincts
• Hold a safe & secure election
• Locating polling places
• Training election officers to staff the polls on Election Day
• Preparing all election supplies to be used at the polls on Election Day

March 17, 2026 - Special Election

• All voters in the 193rd District will have a special election on March 17th. This is due to the resignation of Torren Ecker. 
• Applies to voters in the 193rd District only: Cooke, Dickinson, Penn, Shippensburg, South Newton & Southampton Townships and Shippensburg Borough.

2026 General Primary

• Nomination petitions for local party committee persons are available in our office or online. All other offices will obtain paperwork from PA Department of State.
