Surplus Property Sale

Items owned by Cumberland County Government that are no longer needed, obsolete, or not functioning properly, and are considered of value, will now be listed and sold using an online auction site. This allows for the efficient and legally complaint disposal of surplus property. We are moving forward with the posting vehicles, furniture, and other items for sale using the online auction site starting in fall 2020.

The Municibid auction site is free to sign-up and is available to everyone. Anyone can view items WITHOUT creating an account. However, if you want to place a bid, you will then need to create an account with the online auction site. A 9% buyer’s fee will be charged on all items.

  • Details and pictures of each item will be posted, as well as payment options and the end date of the auction.
  • There is a question & answer feature available for each item listed.

Postings are frequently updated, so check-in often to find new items!
