Election Dates & Deadlines

Cumberland County polling places are open for in person voting on the following election dates from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Voted Absentee & Mail-In Ballots may be delivered by mail or in person by the voter themselves to the Cumberland County Bureau of Elections.

**Applies to voters in the 193rd District only: Cooke, Dickinson, Penn, Shippensburg, South Newton & Southampton Townships and Shippensburg Borough**

Last day to register before the Primary: Monday, March 2, 2026
*Postmarks will not be accepted.
Last day to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot: Tuesday, March 10, 2026
*Postmarks will not be accepted.
Last day to receive voted civilian mail-in or absentee ballots: Tuesday, March 17, 2026
*County Election Office must receive by 8:00 p.m. Postmarks will not be accepted.
Last day to receive voted military & overseas absentee ballots: Tuesday, March 24, 2026
*Submitted for delivery no later than 11:59 p.m. on May 18th.

Last day to register before the Primary: Monday, May 4, 2026

Last day to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot: Tuesday, May 12, 2026
