There are over 635 businesses in the County with more than 4,300 measuring devices.
- Gas/Fuel Pump devices
- Small and Medium capacity and Precious metal scales
- UPC Scanning Systems
Inspection and testing is conducted annually. No prior notification is given to the business.
Sales Receipts
In addition to testing and measuring accuracy, a sales receipt must reflect the following:
- Business Name
- Accuracy of unit pricing
- Accuracy of measure, "net weight"
- Correctness of total price computation
- Date of transaction
