The plan will serve as a long-term road map that defines the county’s future priorities.
Effective strategic planning articulates the direction an organization is taking, the actions needed to make progress, and defines its success. It is a disciplined effort that produces decisions and actions that shape and guide an organization; who it serves, what it does, and why it does it, with a focus on the future.
The Cumberland County Strategic Plan will serve as a blueprint for long-term sustainability of the county and its services, operations, and infrastructure.
