    - 2024 Dog Licenses are available for purchase in-person or online from the Cumberland County Treasurer's Office. Annual dog licenses are required for all dogs 3 months & older that don't have a lifetime license. Dogs must be licensed by Jan. 1 each year. Get A Dog License

The Treasurer's Office is pleased to provide services on behalf of the following agencies:

Responsibilities of the Treasurer's Office in support of county operations are as follows:

  • Receiving and depositing all monies daily for operational accounts / funds of the county
  • Investing county operational funds
  • Maintaining all cash balances daily for County Accounts
  • Collecting and disbursing the County Hotel Tax, which is presently set at 3%
  • Serving as a member of the County Retirement Board

This office is not involved in the collection of delinquent property taxes, maintenance of the excess funds list, nor are we involved in mortgage foreclosures.
