- Check stream conditions prior to any outing at USGS water gauge - Hogestown. Recommended stream levels for boating is above 1.7. 6 is action stage, 8 is flood stage!
Yellow Breeches Creek Water Trail:

- B1 - Messiah University - Occasionally, creek access at Messiah is limited or closed due to scheduled events. For up-to-date information on closures, visit www.messiah.edu/safety.
- B6-B7 The creek is completely blocked by a large fallen tree and logjam about 20 yards upstream from the Slate Hill Road takeout, B7. Water is very deep at this location. Recommend taking out at B6 Yellow Breeches Park to avoid this safety hazard. (posted July 23, 2024)
