Volunteer Firefighters’ Association

Formed on May 19, 1927 in Carlisle PA, the Cumberland County Volunteer Firefighters Association is made up of 46 companies and organizations from Cumberland, Perry, York and Franklin Counties.  

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each odd month beginning at 1830 hours with a social time and the meeting begins at 1930 hours at one of the associations participating company’s station.  The association comes together to discuss issues occurring within the fire service along with discussing training ideas and legislative issues that area going on within our state and federal capitals.  

Each September the association holds its annual convention and awards banquet.
