Ombudsman

Specially trained staff and volunteers review and assist to resolve complaints by, or on behalf of, people receiving Long Term Care Services. The resident themselves must desire the assistance.

Protective Services

Specially trained staff investigate reports of abuse, neglect, exploitation or abandonment of adults age 60 or older who are at imminent risk of harm, are incapacitated, and have no responsible caretaker.  This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Guardianship

In rare circumstances, specially trained staff may evaluate incapacitated older adults regarding the appropriateness and degree of guardianship needed, and may temporarily secure and manage such relationships as appropriate.
